Water Bill is a fiction story featured in Ninth Letter, an award-winning literary and arts magazine produced bi-annually by the English Department and the School of Art + Design. Water Bill exaggerates the control and meddling qualities that the futuristic water company, Hydratia has on it’s clients. The story is designed as an actual water bill that a customer would receive in the mail and the title page is displayed as a business card to introduce the cold, business forward attitude of the company.
